Why does a gift have to be bought? Use a little imagination for Gods sake. A few years ago I lined the road from my girlfriends house to her work with homemade signs telling her how much I love her and happy valentines day. She still has em in the attic. Forget the canned stuff, do something from you.

These are very nice and useful ideas, especially for forgetful and busy people! As for me, I always buy gifts for my beloved beforehand and, shame on me, can't wait till the holiday and always give them too early, just because I want to make him happy as soon as possible.
